An elegant Japanese obijime cord, hand-braided from silk using the traditional Korai-gumi technique.
The cord features a warm golden ochre base with lustrous metallic gold accents and a refined decorative woven motif. Its understated tonal palette gives it a sophisticated presence, while the two sides offer subtly different textures and levels of sheen.
Designed as a kimono obi cord, it may also be repurposed for belts, jewelry, textile art, or as material for handmade bag handles and decorative straps.
