An elegant Japanese obijime cord, hand-braided in the traditional Korai-gumi style using pure silk.
The design combines muted dusty pink and deep burgundy with lustrous gold accents and graceful floral-inspired motifs. Each side has a different visual character, allowing the cord to create varied effects depending on how it is tied or displayed.
Originally made as a kimono accessory for securing an obi, it is suitable for formal kimono styling, including furisode and homongi. Its refined silk braiding also makes it an appealing material for creative projects such as belts, jewelry, decorative bag handles, or ornamental straps.
