An unused Japanese obijime cord, carefully hand-braided from silk in the traditional Korai-gumi style. Its chartreuse green base is accented with white and metallic gold decorative woven motifs, while the reverse reveals a warm golden-brown tone. The refined sheen and tightly structured braid make it a striking accessory for kimono styling.

Beyond its traditional use as an obijime, this silk cord may also be used creatively as a decorative belt, fashion accessory, textile display piece, or material for handmade bag handles and ornamental straps.
