An antique Japanese hachisun obi fabric bolt featuring bold, undulating horizontal bands woven across a deep black ground. Alternating red, gold, and silver-toned waves give the textile a striking modernist rhythm, while the reverse reveals a vivid red ground with contrasting black curves.
