A vintage Japanese obiage made from pure silk, richly textured with traditional shibori resist-dyeing. Fine kanoko-style shibori dots cover most of the cloth, creating a dense, tactile surface in vivid vermilion red and softly aged ivory.
This classic red obiage adds a bold traditional accent to kimono styling. It may also be appreciated as a decorative Japanese textile or used in carefully considered craft projects.
