A vintage Japanese obiage crafted from pure silk in a warm coral pink colour. Traditional shibori resist-dyeing forms alternating diagonal panels of fine texture and geometric diamond motifs. The smoother silk sections feature a subtle woven design combining flowers and angular patterns.
Originally worn beneath an obi to add colour and support to a kimono ensemble. It may also be enjoyed as a decorative textile, fashion accent or material for creative projects.
