An elegant Japanese obijime cord, hand-braided in the traditional Korai-gumi style from pure silk. The vivid lime green ground is paired with ivory and pale gold, while flowing woven motifs add a refined decorative accent. The contrasting faces allow the color and texture to be shown differently depending on how the cord is tied.
Traditionally worn over an obi to complete a kimono ensemble, this versatile silk cord may also be used creatively as a decorative belt, accessory, textile art material, or accent for a bag handle or ornamental strap.
