An elegant Japanese obijime cord made from pure silk and carefully hand-braided in the traditional Korai-gumi style.
The refined palette combines olive green with warm gold and pale green geometric motifs. The reverse side presents a simpler olive-green finish, allowing the appearance to vary depending on how the cord is tied or displayed.
Originally created as a decorative cord worn over an obi, it is suitable for kimono styling, including formal and semi-formal ensembles. Its beautiful silk braiding also makes it an attractive material for creative reuse in belts, jewelry, accessories, handmade bag handles, or decorative straps.
