An unused Japanese obijime cord, carefully hand-braided from pure silk in the traditional Korai-gumi style.
The design combines deep green and crimson red with luminous gold accents and elegant floral motifs. The reverse sides feature rich solid-color braiding, allowing the appearance to change depending on how the cord is tied or displayed.
It is ideal as a traditional cord for kimono styling, particularly with formal or festive ensembles. Its fine silk braiding also makes it suitable for creative reuse in belts, jewelry, accessories, or as material for a handmade bag handle or decorative strap.
