An elegant Japanese obijime cord, hand-braided in the traditional Korai-gumi style using pure silk.

The dusty rose pink silk is accented with metallic gold and flowing decorative woven motifs. One side presents a restrained pink surface, while the reverse reveals a luminous gold field, giving the cord a refined and versatile character.

Traditionally worn over an obi to complete a kimono ensemble, this beautiful silk cord may also be used creatively as a decorative belt, textile accessory, or material for bag handles and ornamental straps. Please note that it is not a finished load-bearing strap.
