Vintage Japanese Geta Sandals from the 1960s

Handcrafted by Tenguya in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, Japan

These traditional women's geta sandals date back to the 1960s and showcase a refined Japanese aesthetic. The glossy black lacquered wood base is adorned with a beautiful hand-painted wave and sea motif (seigaiha style) in vibrant tones of red, orange, yellow, and green. The hanao (thong straps) are made of soft red velvet with a white checkered pattern, offering a secure and elegant fit.
