An elegant Japanese obijime cord, hand-braided in the traditional Korai-gumi style using pure silk.

The refined celadon green ground is accented with metallic gold and soft pink decorative woven motifs. One side presents the green silk with delicate ornament, while the reverse reveals a rich golden-brown metallic weave, offering two distinctive visual expressions.

Traditionally worn over an obi to secure and complete a kimono ensemble, this finely crafted cord can also be used creatively as a decorative belt, textile accessory, or material for bag handles and ornamental straps.

Please note: When repurposed for a bag, this is a textile material rather than a finished, load-tested carrying strap. Appropriate reinforcement and hardware should be added according to the intended use.
